An unexpected incident occurred on Tuesday morning at the Cardiology Clinic of Heraklion University General Hospital (PAGNI), when a department of suspended ceilings collapsed in a hospital ward, slightly injuring a patient.
According to the hospital in its announcement, at about 03:30 am, in the 50 Cardiology Clinic, a water leak was found and a retreat of gypsum suspended ceiling. A piece fell on the patient’s bed, causing him small scratches in the frontal country.
