Officers from the Division of Prosecution and Criminal Crimes Against Life and Ownership of the Organized Crime Management Division arrested Wednesday, September 17, in Athens, a wanted alien from Interpol Serbia for serious criminal offenses.
In particular, as it became known by ELAS, the defendant was looking for a six -month sentence for her offense illegal possession of drugsfive years of age for the offense of illegal production, occupation and drug salein combination with illegal production, possession, weapons and selling weapons and explosivesas well as to be tried on the offenses of EGlimatic Organization and attempted homicide With aggravating evidence, with a threatened maximum sentence of forty years in prison.
According to Serbian authorities, the defendant, from the beginning of 2019 to 2022, participated in a criminal organization set up in Serbia and was active in the above criminal acts, and among other things he is accused of attempting to homicide a lawyer in February 2021 in Belgrade.
In addition, in the past, surveys conducted at his home had confiscated quantities of cannabis and cocaine, ready for sale, weapons and cartridges.
As noted in the announcement, the defendant was arrested under the order of a temporary detention of the competent Public Prosecutor’s Office, where he will be brought.
