Information on bus modifications in Kalamaria, OASTH proceeded.

On the occasion of questions, as well as passenger complaints, the Thessaloniki Urban Transport Organization clarifies:

At the request of the Municipality of Kalamaria and a relative decision of the Thessaloniki Traffic Police, the OSEH decided to modify the 4b, 5, 6, 33, 33A, 33b, 39, 39A and 39b.

OASTH, implementing the above decisions, is proceeding with modifications, as long as the works of the Municipality of Kalamaria are underway.

These changes are:

-Due to Bioclimatic Upgrading Works on Red Cross Street the lines follow the route:
Line 33 Transition: Poseidon – Regional – Eth. Resistance – Alexander the Great
Line 33 Return: Andrianopolis – Regional – Poseidon
Line 39 Transition: Poseidon – Regional – Eth. Resistance – Aegean
Line 39 Return: Zirganou – Alexandrou – Andrianoupolis – Regional – Poseidon

The stops: School, Gymnasium, Zirganou – Pericles – Ag. Anastasia and Tasu Isaac.

-Due to the Aegean Road Reconstruction Works, the buses follow the route:
Line 33 Transition: Pontus – Metropolitan of Kydonia – Moschonissia – Bulgarian
Line 33 Return: Aegean – National Resistance – Kydonia – Andrianoupolis – Aegean

The stops: Aegean, Byzantium, Thermaikos, Vrysaki, Kifissias are not taking place.

-Due to the renovation projects on Kountouriotis Street, the buses on the return, follow the route:
Line 5: Sofoulis – Kerasountos – Kallidou – Pontou – Tsingiridis – Karamanlis.
Line 6: Pontou – Tsingiridis – Papandreou.
Line 4B: It does not enter Vryoulon Street and continues straight to Karamanlis.

Park stops, Holy Metropolis of Kalamaria, Apollo Kalamaria Stadium, Beach, Disinfectants, Camps, Aktaion, Kalahrakas, Panagia Hospital, Platanos, Ag. Friday, tobacco warehouses, workers’ houses, old finish, Xan Kalamarias, Hydra Square, Foundation and Platanos.

OASTH informs the passenger public that changes to the routes appear in its telematics system and its implementation. In addition, at the stops through which the buses do not pass, informative notes have been placed. In addition, to facilitate passengers, the Agency proposed the creation of two temporary stops, at 95 Metropolitan Kallidou Street and on Konstantinos Karamanlis Street (old finish).
