To the implementation of one multidimensional worka total budget of more than 3 million euros, is proceeding by the Municipality of Mandra-Iplyllia. The Mayor Drikos signed the relevant contract, which concerns the creation of a standard privately owned site and environmental education park. The project aims at the new era of development, innovation and sustainable perspective for the region, as well as improving the daily lives of citizens. The funding comes from the “Antonis Tritsis” program.

The new construction site will include a two -storey building, with a total area of ​​1,000 square meters, with modern offices, 60 -seat meeting room, workshop, warehouses, changing rooms and parking lots. In the surrounding area, over 20 acres, three large sheds will be built for the municipal fleet, and advanced irrigation and sewer systems will be installed. The project is expected to reduce the operating costs of the municipality and improve the working conditions of employees.

At the same time, it is envisaged to create a theme park of green growth and education. In collaboration with the Agricultural University of Athens, a nursery and greenhouse will be created. The “Children’s Garden” will be offered to students for tree planting, plant cultivation and recycling programs. High -tech irrigation systems will be installed and protection measures will be taken in accordance with European standards.

The outdoor amphitheater will host environmental education workshops and activities. In addition, 80% of the surroundings will be covered with green, enhancing the sustainable character of the project.

In his statements, Mayor Drikos described the signing of the contract as “Historical Moment for the Municipality of Mandra-Idilia”. He emphasized that the construction site and the theme park are a comprehensive vision of the future of the place, ensuring modern and safe working conditions, reduction of operating expenses and substantial upgrading of the services provided.

As he said, the construction site will be a reference point for the technological and operational upgrading of the Municipality, while the theme park will function as a living learning and experiential education organization for children and young people. Concluding, Mr Drikos noted that the new project combines technology, environment, education and social responsibility, creating an infrastructure that will be a legacy for future generations and enhance the identity of the municipality in green development and innovation.
