They managed to extort thousands of euros in money and jewelry from their victims by pretending to be accountants.

Their action ended yesterday, when they were arrested in the area of ​​Halkidiki by police officers of the Moudania Department.

These are two nationals men and one minorwho tried to defraud two other people.

In particular, their accomplices called a citizen yesterday at noon man and a homeland womanin areas of Thessaloniki and Halkidiki respectively, again pretending to be accounting office employees. They claimed that the two people’s jewelery should be valued, with a view to insuring it, and for that the arrested would receive it.

As it emerged from the investigation, accomplices of those arrested, from October 6 to 17, 2025, using the same methodology, deceived two women in regions of Halkidiki and Attica, from which they managed to extract a total of 5,000 euros, jewelry worth 6,000 euros and prepaid cards worth 350 eurosaccording to the victims’ statements.

They also tried to defraud another citizen and a minor citizen, in areas of Thessaloniki and Attica respectively.

A vehicle and three mobile phones were seized from those arrested.

The investigation of the police continues, both for the identification of the identity details of their accomplices, and for their possible participation in other similar criminal acts. Those arrested, with the case filed against them, will be brought to the Halkidiki First Instance Prosecutor.
