Roula Pispirigou’s communications are opened for the law enforcement authorities, after the issuance of a panel of the Council of Criminal Procedure that accepted the request of the investigator of the case, Christina Salappa for the removal of confidentiality of telephone and electronic communications of the accused for the death of Georgina.
The Council gave a positive response to the investigative request and thus the contacts and communications of the 33-year-old come under the microscope of the Police experts, in order to identify critical data that is estimated to be retrieved.
In the meantime, the testimonies of witnesses called by the Investigator begin immediately, with the first on her list being the doctors and nurses of the Hospitals where the 9-year-old was treated.
All the scientists and other witnesses of the events from April 2021, when the child’s path to death began, will pass through the investigative office. A year ago, the 9-year-old had a very serious episode of opposition at the Karamandani Hospital, which had been admitted due to spasms in her sleep.
There the doctors fought with a long recovery process that saved the child, but left a serious problem in the central nervous system due to lack of oxygen until the heart returned to function.
The child has since been hospitalized at Onassis and at the Aglaia Kyriakou Children’s Hospital, where he died on January 29, 2022.
