For the wild attack which was accepted by 13 year old his son and his beating by a gang of juveniles on Saturday night at Muscat the boy’s father spoke to SKAI.
EL.AS proceeded to arrest 6 minors – aged 14 and 15 – for the brutal attack, while according to the 13-year-old’s father, the Security told him that “some are known as gang 183“, from the telephone code of Moschato.
“On Saturday around 19:40 – I was outside Athens – my son calls me and says “Dad, I’ve been badly beaten 15 people. I don’t have a battery, what do I do?” I told him: “I see you from the GPS, stay where you are”, the father described to SKAI.
“The child had been badly beaten by 15 children of a different age. He didn’t know them. No cons. There was a girl in their company, a friend of my son’s, my son called her some derogatory name and one of them jumped and said to him “you say that to me, you’ll see what happens” although the child told him that ‘I didn’t say that about you,'” the father explained about how the episode began.
The child “handled it coolly, he didn’t raise a hand to anyone, he said to me, ‘Dad, I didn’t want to continue this, I protected myself with my hands, they were kicking me, we were hitting them.’
The father explained that “they were children from other schools. I was told by security that some are known as the 183 gang from the Muscat Postcode.’
