For four whole days, from the 27th to the 30th of April, the Seraphim of the Municipality of Athens will be filled with colors and toys for the unique conference on play and its importance in the education of young children with the slogan “The future is better with the game “!
The second international ‘Play on Early Education’ brings to Athens all the new views and trends in education, which “justify” children who want to play and discover the world!
Internationally renowned scientists, educators and delegates from around the world, as well as special experiential workshops will explore the role and form of play in the digital age and in the school of the future.
Those who attended the first conference, in 2019, still remember the unique moments they lived, in the speeches and enjoyable discussions of ‘Teacher Tom’, from the USA, with Suzanne Axelsson, the popular Swedish educator, and Meynell Walter, who filled the conference room with his inflatable toys for young and old.
This year, all of the above will be found again together with the Greek speakers and presenters, including the ‘Teacher of Fourfouras’, Angelos Patsias, who built a different school in the village of Rethymno and continues his activities in Thessaloniki. Also, for the first time, there will be talk about how the game eliminates gender stereotypes, through the co-founders of the organization ‘Women on Top’, Stella Kasdagli and Penelope Theodorikakou.
