Different Easter eggs are options for bakers to buy and gift

by

It’s not enough to model the chocolate in the shape of an egg or to make the most of the decoration. For this year’s Easter, celebrated on Sunday (17), São Paulo’s confectioners are betting that customers will prefer unusually shaped eggs or eggs with lots and lots of stuffing — both embedded in the shell and served on one of the halves, to eat. to spoon.

Another trend is eggs for restrictive diets, developed especially for those looking for vegan, sugar-free, lactose-free, gluten-free chocolates. Or all of these together.

Origin is another word on the order of the day at Easter. For those who want to know where the raw material comes from, the tip is to look for producers of bean to bar, or almond to bar, chocolates, who favor cocoa produced in Brazil and usually have all the information at the tip of their tongue.

Only one thing doesn’t change — year in, year out, Easter eggs hit the market costing more than chocolate bars.

The following selection lists 15 producers from São Paulo, of different profiles, with eggs in the most varied price ranges — from bakeries to fancy confectioneries, from brands that only sell on Instagram to those that have already reached supermarkets, there are options ranging from R $49.90 to BRL 360.
