In economic differences between different groups due to, according to the police, the two cases of attempted murder against foreigners occurred in Piraeus and Anavyssos respectively.
According to the Department of Crimes against Life and Personal Freedom of the Attica Security Directorate, the first case concerns an attempted murder, against two foreigners aged 22 and 26, committed in the evening on 5-9-2021 in Akti Moutsopoulou in Piraeus, while the second against three foreigners, 22, 27 and 30 years old, committed on 6-10-2021 in a house in Anavyssos.
The victims in both cases, had been wounded by a firearm and were taken to hospitals, where they were treated. According to EL.AS from the investigations, the two cases were related to each other.
The attempted murder, against the 22-year-old and the 26-year-old in Piraeus, preceded, and was followed by the second attempt against another 22-year-old, 27-year-old and 30-year-old in Anavyssos, for reasons of revenge.
As it turned out, the perpetrators of the first attempted murder in Piraeus were the 22-year-old and the 27-year-old, among the victims in Anavyssos, together with another 29-year-old foreigner.
The victims of the first case, after their recovery, together with another 27-year-old foreigner, were the perpetrators of the attempted murder in Anavyssos.
A single case was filed against all six of the above aliens, which was submitted to the Athens Public Prosecutor for Misdemeanors, who referred the case for main investigation and a warrant was issued, under which the 26-year-old was arrested. The other perpetrators are wanted.
