In schools

- There will be no regular self-diagnostic tests for attendance at the school unit by students and vaccinated teachers and members of Special Teaching Staff (Special Education Staff) – Special Support Staff (Special Assistant Staff).
- Unvaccinated teachers and members of E.E.P. – Ε.Î’.Î . will perform a preventive 1 rapid test per week, at their own expense, up to 48 hours before school on Tuesday. (Especially, for next week’s attendance, the first test will be conducted up to 48 hours before the school arrival on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.)
In case of close contact with a case within the school context:
The vaccinated and non-students and teachers and members of E.E.P. – Ε.Î’.Î . perform 2 self-tests (days 0-1 and 4) for free (will be available from schools) and use a high respiratory protection mask (N95 or KN95 or FFP2) or a double mask for 10 days.
In case of close contact with a case outside of school:
The vaccinated students return to school normally, perform a self-test on the 5th day at their own expense and use a high respiratory protection mask (N95 or KN95 or FFP2) or a double mask for 10 days.
Unvaccinated students are quarantined and self-administered on day 5 at their own expense to return to school. After the 5th day, if the test is negative and they return to school, use a high respiratory protection mask (N95 or KN95 or FFP2) or a double mask for at least another 5 days.
The vaccinated teachers and members of E.E.P. – Ε.Î’.Î . they return to school normally, perform a rapid test on the 5th day at their own expense and use a high respiratory protection mask (N95 or KN95 or FFP2) or a double mask for 10 days.
Unvaccinated teachers and members of E.E.P. – Ε.Î’.Î . are quarantined and conduct a rapid test on the 5th day at their own expense in order to return to school. After the 5th day, if the test is negative and they return to school, use a high respiratory protection mask (N95 or KN95 or FFP2) or a double mask for at least another 5 days.
In case of a confirmed case in the classroom, the same applies to the general population, for vaccinated and non-vaccinated students and teachers:
Remaining the case in isolation for at least 5 days, with the day of receiving the positive test being considered as day 0.
After 5 days of isolation and if (a) the fever has completely subsided for 24 hours without the use of antipyretics and (b) there are no other symptoms or the symptoms improve, the isolation is stopped.
If the fever persists or the symptoms do not improve, the isolation is prolonged.
Mandatory use of high respiratory protection mask (N95 or KN95 or FFP2) or double mask for at least another 5 days from the end of isolation.
Now, the students and the vaccinated teachers and members of E.E.P. – Ε.Î’.Î . do not make an Edupass declaration on a weekly regular basis, unless a relevant obligation arises, e.g. in case of close contact with a case.
Unvaccinated teachers and members of E.E.P. – Ε.Î’.Î . They continue to report Edupass on a weekly basis for their regular laboratory tests once a week and, at the same time, are required to report for diagnostic tests performed as close case contacts inside and outside the school. (Respectively, for students and teachers of private schools, the statements needed according to the new protocol are still made on the platform self-testing.gov.gr.)
In Universities, IEK and Colleges
- Unvaccinated teachers perform 1 rapid test per week at their own expense, up to 48 hours before arrival on Tuesday. (Especially for next week’s arrival, the first test will take place up to 48 hours before the arrival on Wednesday.)
- Unvaccinated students / trainees / students are not subject to regular mandatory testing.
Unvaccinated students no longer make an Edupass declaration on a weekly basis due to the lifting of their mandatory regular checkups. - Participation in all the activities of the above educational structures and access to their activities (eg reading rooms, libraries, exams, swearing-in ceremonies, conferences, restaurants, canteens, gyms) are in line with the protocols that will apply in general, therefore they will not be carried out no longer vaccination certificate checks or tests by non-vaccinated.
- Free entry of visitors to the dormitories.
- Maintaining the existing mandatory use of the mask.
