The execution a rapid test on a weekly basis (of two) provides the new Joint Decision of the Ministers of Finance, Development and Investment, Education and Religions, Labor and Social Affairs, Health, Culture and Sports, Justice, Home Affairs, Digital Governance, Infrastructure and Transport, Navy , Tourism, State and Undersecretary under the Prime Minister, which is valid from May 1, 2022 and amends the previously valid framework (B ‘4766/16/10/2021).
According to an announcement by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, private sector employees with a physical presence in the workplace who have not been vaccinated and have not been diagnosed with coronavirus in the last six monthsare submitted mandatory -and at their own expense- in disease diagnostics from the coronavirus (rapid test) once a week.
The test is valid for one week from the day it is performed.
During the first application of the new JMC, the audit is carried out at any time within the working week of each employee, without any further adverse consequences.
