It all happened in the early morning hours of April 27 when the 31-year-old, having consumed a large amount of alcohol, quarreled with a 17-year-old.
According to the information, the 17-year-old pushed him to avoid him, as a result of which the young man lost his balance and fell on the road, hitting his head.
An EKAB ambulance was immediately called and the rescuers took him to the Sitia Health Center and then to PAGNI.
The unfortunate man had been severely injured in the head and had to be intubated and admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.
Unfortunately, during the night, he could not stand it and ended up.
The 17-year-old is free on parole
The 17-year-old was arrested by the authorities after the incident and was brought before the prosecutor.
His prosecutor had prosecuted him for grievous bodily harm. He then apologized to the investigator and was released on parole.
The case file will now be supplemented with this tragic end of the 31-year-old and the 17-year-old is expected to be summoned again by the investigating authorities.
