As announced, on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 and during the drop of paratroopers from a C-130 aircraft in the Drop Zone of Tersefanos, Larnaca, the specific executives with a high sense of responsibility and excellent level of professional training immediately and successfully applied all the prescribed procedures and emergency, ensuring the safe return of a sliding parachutist into the aircraft.
The ceremony took place at the School of Paratroopers and was attended by the Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Charalambos Lalousis, the Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Themistoklis Bourolias, the Commander of the Faculty Lieutenant General George Tsitsikostas and the Deputy Commander of the General Staff.
