Every initiative can prove crucial and bwin remains consistent in its strategy of providing social assistance to those in need. The bwin team, in collaboration with Doctors of the World and their Street Work program, sided with the homeless.

On Wednesday (04/05), the volunteer team of the leading betting brand distributed food to the homeless in the port of Piraeus. It was its 3rd voluntary action in 2022, with the team being particularly aware of social and environmental issues.

Bwin, which has a vision of supporting society and especially vulnerable and vulnerable social groups, has decided once again to join forces with Doctors of the World to help the homeless. Besides, their cooperation for the provision of health services in the remote islands of Greece has been awarded at the “Corporate Affairs Excellence Awards 2020”.

Doctors of the World, in order to reach and provide medical and social support to the ever-increasing number of homeless, carry out the “Street Work” program, with visits to areas of downtown Athens and Piraeus, where our fellow homeless people live in groups. . In addition to feeding, the Doctors of the World team, which consists of a general practitioner, nurse, social worker and administrator, provides medical care, social counseling and information on where they can get help.

The active bwin team put its own stone in the social responsibility initiatives carried out by the leading betting brand, inspired by the vision for practical support to the people and societies in which it operates.
