The necessity of the third dose is dictated by the gradual reduction of the antibodies of the humoral immunity, but also the infectious action and the transmissibility of the mutations of the virus. Its administration began in our country in September and aims to strengthen immunity, which decreases after 6 months and the longer duration of protection. It increases the antibody response, especially important for older people and reduces the rate of coronavirus infection.
