A parking space, even in a public place, was able to cause even a bloody incident in Agrinio, in the area of ​​Agia Varvara.

This is the case of the arrest of an 85-year-old man on Saturday afternoon, after a large mobilization of the Police. Police managed to stop him in his neighborhood, before he managed to escape in his car (photo).

The neighborhood where the incident took place, is upset, since, as reported in agriniopressis not the first time that the 85-year-old causes problems with his aggressive behavior.

This time, however, it exceeded the limits. As soon as a 62-year-old neighbor parked his vehicle outside the 85-year-old’s house, in a public place, the 85-year-old came out with a shotgun on his balcony and after aiming at the neighbor, started threatening him.

Panic scenes ensued, the 62-year-old ran to his home to cover himself while the police immediately intervened by arresting the perpetrator and confiscating the weapon. The 85-year-old was detained until today, when he appeared in court to be tried, in the context of the highway with the accusations of carrying a weapon, threatening and insulting. The trial was adjourned until Monday and the 85-year-old was released.

Sources from the terrified family state that precautionary measures will be filed while a psychiatric opinion will be requested for the 85-year-old, since there are fears for a recurrence of the episode. The victim’s family fears that the situation could escalate again at any moment and take on unpredictable proportions.

The incident recalls aspects of the brutal murder of the 52-year-old hagiographer in Tinos, from a 90-year-old with problematic behavior, last month.
