The Distomo for the Mausoleum and the Museum of the Victims of Nazism was filled with youth

by

Youth has flooded Distomo in recent days: About 750 students from 5 schools in Athens and Viotia visited the Mausoleum and Museum of Victims of Nazism of Distomo with their teachers in the last three working days, as part of their educational programs.

They thus combined their trip with the acquisition of knowledge from the field of modern Greek history and especially of World War II and the crimes against humanity committed by the Nazi Germans in Distomo with the Massacre of its 228 inhabitants through experiential actions.

The Schools that visited Distomo today and the day before (as well as the adjacent famous Byzantine Monastery of Saint Luke and Krya of Livadia) are the Primary School of Aliartos, Boeotia, the 52nd High School of Kolonos, the 7th High School of Acharnes, the 4th Gymnasium-Lyceum of Marathon.

# On Saturday, the multi-day events commemorating the Massacre of June 10, 1944, dedicated to the Judicial Struggles for Justice, will begin – Greek Judges will also speak, whose decisions remained in the history of our country as they justified the plaintiffs’ relatives of the Slaughtered.
