The multinational mid-range air exercise started yesterday, Monday, May 9, and will last until Friday, May 20. NATO Tiger Meet 2022 in the 116th Battle Wing at the air base of Araxos.
According to his announcement General Staff of Aviationthe purpose of the exercise is to provide high quality business training in the spirit of “Train as you fight” improving the skills and cooperation of members in conducting complex operations.
The exercise will be conducted throughout the FIR Athens, with the participation of a large number of air forces from Greece, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic and NATO.
They also participate Austria, Germany, USA, Netherlands, Portugal and Poland with observers, personnel and means, as well as forces of the Army and Navy.
