The platform for submitting grant applications from the beneficiaries of the “Digital Care II” program opened today, Wednesday 11 May.
The new cycle is addressed to: a) teachers and members of Special Teaching Staff – Special Auxiliary Staff, without social or other criteria, who are employed in public or private schools,
and b) families affected by the fires that broke out in areas of Greek territory from 27 July 2021 until 13 August 2021 and which have dependent members attending educational structures in the country.
The new round of the “Digital Care” Program, in line with the first, in which more than 500,000 young people aged 4-24 were supported, will distribute checks to the beneficiaries. 200 euros for the purchase of technological equipment (tablet, laptop, desktop).
The beneficiaries of the program can be informed about the “Digital Care II” on the website of the Program and submit their application on the online platform https://beneficiary.digital-access.gov.gr/. Applications can be submitted by the beneficiaries until July 8, 2022.
Once their application is approved, the beneficiaries will be informed about their check through the program platform, as well as by SMS to the mobile phone they stated in their application. The checks can be used until September 30, 2022 for the purchase of approved technological equipment of the beneficiaries’ choice, by an approved supplier of their choice.
The Registers of Approved Suppliers and Approved Equipment are available on the website https://www.ktpae.gr/erga/ψηφιακή-μέριμνα-ιι/.
Beneficiaries can use the checks either to cover the total cost of the equipment of their choice or to cover part of the total cost, if this exceeds the value of the available checks.
Families with more than one beneficiary can use up to three checks to purchase a single device if they wish.
The “Digital Care” program
“Digital Care” is a program of the Ministries of Education and Religions, Finance, Development and Investment, Labor and Social Affairs and Digital Governance, which is implemented by the “Information Society MAE”.
The program is part of the National Recovery Plan “Greece 2.0” and is one of the first projects implemented at pan-European level, which use funds from the European Union Recovery and Sustainability Fund.
