Motels in SP serve dishes created by former MasterChef participants at an event

To please those who want to eat well in São Paulo motels, a festival offers chef-signed menus during May in these spaces. Until the 31st, the sixth edition of Chef’s at the Motel will take place, an event that seeks to give guests other types of pleasure.

During this month, seven motels in the capital and Greater São Paulo — in addition to one in Campinas and another in Ribeirão Preto, in the interior of the state — will offer menus with starter and main course options, available for lunch or dinner.

Couples who want to do this little bit will need to pay R$ 69 per person — an amount that does not include the period of stay in the room, but that does not waste the double meaning.

Among the participating star chefs is Fernando Kawasaki, who was part of the cast of two editions of the reality show Masterchef Brasil. One of the dishes he signs on the menu at Tout, in Campinas, is called Filet de Salmon e Pasta, with roasted salmon and served under pasta in a white sauce with spinach, mushrooms and fresh herbs.

Ivo Lopes, who also participated in the Band program, is responsible for the Lush menu, in the central region of the capital. Among his creations is the mushroom risotto and filet mignon escalope with herb sauce.

Finishing the list of Masterchefs, the duo Giovanna Gava and Cadu Evangelisti launched their seasonings in options at Crush, in Vila Mariana, and at Savana, in Ribeirão Preto – among them, the Provençal shrimp, made with crustaceans flambéed with herbs, olive oil and lemon.

Whoever goes to one of the participating motels, regardless of the type of accommodation chosen, can order the festival dishes in two ways: in advance, when making the reservation through the Guia de Motéis Go app, or directly at the accommodation.
