Thirteen days are completed today since the last time Thymios Bougas gave signs of life, visiting the Police Department to seek protection from those who on the night of Friday 29/4 to the dawn of Saturday 30/4 made his life “hell” not only by bullying and terrorizing him outside his home but also falsifying the truth after they presented him as the maniac who chases innocent citizens.

Even today, everyone is looking for a place in the 39-year-old man’s life and expresses fears even about his own life, hoping that he has simply hidden somewhere to protect himself and calm down.

“There is a voluntary disappearance due to fear and panic. However, we are even more motivated by the possibility that Efthymis, after the many pains he has suffered many times, has set a goal to end his life or those who videotaped him and created his whole subject bullying “they have been put out to get him out of the way,” said Gerasimos Kourouklis, commander of the Silver Alert service.

The above was supported by the Mayor of Pyrgos, Takis Antonakopoulos, who expressed the hope that Thymios is alive and just hiding somewhere.

At the forefront of the investigation into the people who attacked Thymios Bougas that night, there is no new development other than the apprehension of the two people who are allegedly involved in the incident who testified to the police.

Last Sunday, the file with the pre-investigation material was handed over to the Prosecutor’s Office, which is thoroughly examining the details of the case.

“The responsibilities will be sought,” Mr. Kourouklis assured, stating that “it is good for those involved in the case to be careful and that the period from May 4 to 11 has many criminal offenses for many.”
