THE Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met in the morning, at Maximos Palaceby Prime Minister of Bavaria Markus Söderduring a visit by a Delegation of the Bavarian Parliament.
During the meeting the significant scope for promoting bilateral economic and business cooperationwhile the Prime Minister stressed the advantages of Greece and the stable environment that makes it an attractive investment destination.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis also referred to Greek energy policy and the initiatives of Greece in order to become power transmission node from the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East to the EU.
In addition, the Prime Minister briefed Mr Söder on Turkish provocationstressing that the EU has a strategic interest in maintaining a stable and secure environment in the Mediterranean region, especially at this critical juncture.
During the discussion reference was made to immigrant and the need for effective protection of the EU’s external borders and a show of solidarity with the frontline countries.
