Joseph, President Anastasiadis is expected to brief the Heads of State – Member States of the EU for the new Turkish challenges in the region of Famagusta. He will urge his counterparts to urge Turkey to show restraint by avoiding tensions in the Eastern Mediterranean, abandoning its expansionist policy.
Mr. Joseph points out that President Anastasiadis will reiterate that Famagusta belonged and will belong to its rightful owners and inhabitants, emphasizing that the unacceptable actions and demands of Turkey will not be accepted.
