“I visited the National Observatory today and spoke with the heads of the institutes, scientists who have a complete picture of the phenomenon of the climate crisis, precisely because we are very concerned about the combination of the escalation of the climate crisis and the inadequacy of the state mechanism to “to follow this escalation and prepare to face the phenomena that we will constantly have in the near future,” he said after the visit, stressing that “the climate crisis is and will be present” and “we can not be constantly surprised.” .

“The crucial thing is for the government to listen to it as soon as possible. Not after a holiday. And even more crucial is to plan together with the scientific community. To plan the implementation of protection and prevention from these phenomena that we will always have ahead. “We must find a way to deal with them adequately,” concluded the president of SYRIZA-PS.
