Athens moves on to buy F-35s: Formal request to Washington to join program

Kyriakos Mitsotakis also met with his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau. In a very friendly atmosphere, the two leaders discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries, which this year marks 80 years of official diplomatic relations. Special mention was made of the dynamic Greek community in Canada, which is a living and uninterrupted link between the two countries, as well as the ever-expanding economic and trade cooperation.

The Prime Minister also had four meetings with his newly elected Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese. During this first meeting after Mr Albanese took office, the two leaders had the opportunity to reaffirm the traditionally excellent level of Greek-Australian bilateral relations and to give a brief overview of their full range. Particular emphasis was placed on strengthening bilateral economic cooperation and attracting investment.
