“Obviously EFKA Amarousiou has not turned into a paradise. But thanks to the efforts of the Administration and the employees there, the insured people I met were happy,” says Mr. Hatzidakis in his Facebook post.
Labor Minister Kostis Hatzidakis paid a surprise visit to the EFKA store in Marousi today.
“Obviously EFKA Amarousiou has not turned into a paradise. But thanks to the efforts of the Administration and the employees there, the insured people I met were happy,” says Mr. Hatzidakis in his Facebook post.
He notes that “to the employees who are trying to do their job in adverse conditions, we must immediately give –and we will give it– the special productivity allowance when they issue above pensions. And to complete the procurement of 5,000 new computers which, together with the 3,000 that have been operating in recent months, will modernize EFKA and increase productivity.”
The entire post of the minister of labor
“I continue to go unannounced to institutions and services of the Ministry of Labour. Especially EFKA. With these visits, I can and do my job better. This morning I went to EFKA Amarousiou, a nerve-racking address with many insured people.
Evidently EFKA Amarousiou has not turned into a paradise. But thanks to the efforts of the Administration and the employees there, the insured people I met were happy. Pensions come out faster. Our fellow citizens who have issues with benefits (maternity, etc.) are better served. Online dating works very well. This is also a satisfaction.
But we still have a long way to go. To make the daily life of both the insured and the employees better. Employees who are trying to do their jobs in adverse conditions must be immediately given – and will be given – the special productivity allowance when they issue more pensions.
And to complete the procurement of 5,000 new computers which, together with the 3,000 that have been operating in recent months, will modernize EFKA and increase productivity.
For citizens, we are now in the final stretch for the issuance of the main pensions. And from September we will proceed with the digital KEPAs that will greatly reduce the suffering, especially of people with disabilities, in relation to EFKA. Especially for Marousi, I will tell the Management of EFKA to immediately look into the issue of broken air conditioning in a section of the offices.
It is a big inconvenience for both the employees and the insured.
The new law on EFKA has laid the groundwork to modernize the Agency (with faster procurement, with faster examination of complaints, with new recruitments underway and with more qualified managers for critical positions). Progress is visible, but there is no room for complacency.
My decision is to continue the effort with the same dedication.
It is important to change services and agencies that some had written off in their consciousness. So we continue with persistence, with determination and with commitment to the goal!”.
