Economou in Tsipras: Approaches the pandemic in terms of votes and political costs |

by

“Mr. Tsipras’ statement shows that his only disagreement with the government’s measures concerns the citizens who participate in religious ceremonies, in general”, points out the government spokesman Giannis Oikonomou, answering in what he said the president of SYRIZA.

Mr. Oikonomou points out: “We remind you that with a decision of the government, when deemed necessary, for the first time in modern history the temples for the faithful were closed, while today the diagnostic test for unvaccinated priests and cantors is mandatory. “For all citizens there is an obligation to use a distance mask, which is exactly what applies to access to pharmacies and grocery stores.”

“Does Mr. Tsipras propose additional restrictions on these activities? What exactly does it mean? ” the government spokesman wonders and continues:

Throughout the pandemic, when the government was making difficult decisions, Mr. Tsipras kept saying “no”, meaningfully turning a blind eye to vaccinators. So when Mr. Tsipras approaches the pandemic in terms of votes and political costs, everyone understands that he is talking to his mirror. “As for the division of scientists into common or non-common party acceptance, it is clear to us that science is judged by the scientific community and not by parties.”
