ND’s lead of 6.3 points over SYRIZA is recorded by the new GPO survey – the first after the surveillance case – on behalf of the newspaper “Ta Nea Savvatokyriako”.
In the voting intention, the strength of the parties is recorded as follows: ND 31.4% (33.1% in the previous poll), SYRIZA 25.1% (24.2% in the previous poll), PASOK-KINAL 12.1% (11 .1% in the previous poll).
The KKE gathers 5.7%, the Hellenic Solution 4.8%, while MERA25 is left out of Parliament with 2.1%.
10.1% state that they have not yet decided what they will vote for in the elections.

“The opinion polls record the consolidated political scene that we have seen in recent years with a clear superiority of the ND and the prime minister. Although SYRIZA and Mr. Tsipras are talking about turning the political scene around, calling for the resignation of the government and other resounding similar things, the first opinion polls that see the light of day over the weekend refute them.
The measurements – with the differences between them – show little deterioration in the government’s percentages (last year after the fires the climate was much worse) and very marginal gains for SYRIZA and KINAL. The superiority of the ND in the intention to vote is still clear and large, even though it is in the fourth year of the government and the Prime Minister has a significant advantage over his opponents. The big problems of the citizens are those related to energy and increases, and the government will do everything it can to deal with them.”
