New provocative statements by the Turkish president, this time from Bosnia where he is on his tour of the Balkans
Out of every diplomatic and -especially- allied field has now come out Recep Tayyip Erdogancontinuing his crescendo of threats against Greece, a NATO ally and member of the European Union.
As reported by the SKAI correspondent in Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis, the Turkish president is now directly threatening to invade Greece. In his statements from BosniaMr. Erdogan argued that Athens is provoking with its moves and that if his patience runs out, “redemption will come” and “necessary things will be done.”
More specifically he stated:
“What I’m talking about is not a dream. If we say we can come suddenly at night, what did I say, we can come suddenly one night when the time comes. Why; They have these islands, they have bases on these islands, and if the illegal threats continue, there is an end to patience. When the end of patience comes, the end of patience is redemption. From the moment we see redemption, I believe Greece knows it too. When the time comes, then the necessary things will be done. Radar lock is an issue. Such steps are not a good omen.”
