The Deputy Minister will also visit NIKIFOROS gunboat in the context of its participation in Operation “Surveillance of the Eastern Aegean Islands” and the Guided Missile Rapid Patrol TROUPAKIS which participates in Exercise “COAST IDENTIFICATION 2022”.
He will have meetings with the local Municipal, Regional and Religious Authorities, the Service Commanders of the Security Forces and the inhabitants of the islands. The Deputy Minister will be accompanied by the Commander of the Supreme Military Command of the Interior and Islands Lieutenant General Dimitrios Houpis and the Senior Commanders of the local Formations.
