Kozani- Nikos Androulakis: “I ask for a clear order for renewal” – “The people return to the party”

by

“I ask the 270,000 Greek Democrats to come to the polls again and give me a clear mandate for renewal, unity and political perspective, and I pledge that on Sunday night there will be no winners or losers. The winner will be PASOK and the democratic faction “stressed from Kozani, two days before the second round of the internal party elections in KINAL, Nikos Androulakis.

“The people are returning to the party” noted Mr. Androulakis, “because of the social impasses created by the policies of ND and the inability of SYRIZA to offer an alternative solution.” Referring to the political scene, he stressed that “ND and SYRIZA created discord leading the country and its citizens to false dilemmas.”

“Social democracies are returning to all of Europe,” said Mr. Androulakis, “because every European during the pandemic understood the value of the Health and Social Welfare systems. Mr. Androulakis stated that “the needs are the ones that bring the new era to things and the people want, they expect from our party to offer again to these systems”.

Nikos Androulakis spoke about the strategic advantage that ND seems to have and explained that this is done because “a part of society is afraid of the return of SYRIZA. The solution is us who can give the citizens the perspective and become a strong party of power “. He clarified, however, that for those who went to SYRIZA and ND “the door will be closed for them, we do not need them”.

Referring to Western Macedonia and the issues of de-lignification, he criticized both the SYRIZA government that “started it early and without a plan” and the government of ND, which is proceeding with a violent de-lignification, thus becoming a country that acts as a transitional fuel in its energy mixture is natural gas “. He added that Germany, even with the new government in which the Greens participate, the time limit for de-lignification has been moved to 2030. He spoke about the need for the “gradual withdrawal of lignite units, the need explicit assurance of “soil rehabilitation, the creation of modern infrastructure and the development of the railway”.

Nikos Androulakis was welcomed in Kozani with a short greeting by Voula Christopoulou, his classmate from the years of study at the Technical University of DUTH.
