Illegal software is not only a Greek but also a European problem, said the prime minister
Kyriakos Mitsotakis referred to the “common problem of Europe” with illegal surveillance programs and the development of the Greek economy “with fiscal prudence” in an interview he gave to the Bloomberg agency from Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, where he is participating in the International Conference on climate COP27.
“Anything we do should be fiscally sound,” he said.
“We succeeded only because we combined high growth with a reasonable fiscal policy” said Kyriakos Mitsotakis regarding the tripartite economy-energy crisis-accuracy.
Observations: “Lies that have been written”
“I recognize that in Europe we have a problem with surveillance. Illegal software is not only Greek but also European, but I want within the next month Greece to be the first country in Europe to ban illegal surveillance and illegal surveillance systems.
To a Bloomberg journalist’s question about the influence of a possible change in the United States, Kyriakos Mitsotakis answered:
“The relations between the United States and Greece are in a very good place. Greece is a strategic partner of the United States in a very important and difficult part of the world, and I do not believe that this will change.”
