All government officials, and those whose names appear on the infamous lists of those allegedly monitored, say these are unsubstantiated claims and slander

The path of Justice and institutions against the of unsubstantiated publications and slander and “mud”, as noted by government officials, the government chooses to travel, in the wake of the new publications that continue the surveillance complaints, targeting the Maximos Palace and the prime minister himself. Megaro Maximos declares, at the same time, in all directions, that its will is non-negotiable for the complete clarification of the case as well as for the harsh punishment of both those involved and those spreading false and slanderous allegations. After all, as all government officials note, and those whose names “appear” on the infamous lists of people allegedly monitored, say that these are unsubstantiated claims and slanders, insisting that SYRIZA is behind the orchestrated attack on the government .
The tone was set by the government representative commenting on the new reports: “It is at least paranoid to blame the Government at the same time it appears to be the target of surveillance software, while at the same time very few opposition figures are allegedly being monitored. Based on the reports, the Government seems to have been the main target of the dark circles that operated these softwares. The Government is handling the matter with absolute institutionality and seriousness so that the truth shines forth, order is ensured and national interests are protected. The plan to wear down the Government, through tons of politically toxic mud, in which Mr. Tsipras invests to escape the political quagmire, falls on deaf ears once again. After all, with the mud, those who take it in their hands to throw it get dirty first” he noted, pointing his arrows in Koumoundourou.
Moreover, from the first moment of publication of the newspaper “Documento” the government diagnosed a two-way relationship between the publisher and Koumoundourou, which was quick to fully adopt the newspaper publisher’s complaints Costas Vaxevanis. “The feeding of public opinion with a multitude of publications and even in installments, which are based on unsubstantiated claims and fanciful narratives, without any substantial evidence, obscures and does not enlighten. Especially when the raw material of these publications is material channeled from unknown opaque sources. Material that is very useful for writing espionage novels, in which Mr. Vaxevanis has recently specialized, but completely unsuitable for investigating aspects of the case,” the government spokesman noted.
Those involved reject the complaints
Top Ministers, whose names were on the lists of those allegedly being watched, are rejecting the reports, stressing that they do not cite any evidence.
“I didn’t believe it and I don’t believe it. My name is mentioned, the names of other colleagues are mentioned, and those who posted them say that they have evidence that leads to this conclusion, that these phones are being monitored. Where are the proofs? The editor went to the prosecutor of the Supreme Court, called him, he did not bring any proof. After all, the Minister of Labor himself commented on SKAI and Giorgos Autias. Kostis Hatzidakis.
The Minister of State also spoke of poverty Akis Schertsos saying that the newspaper “Document” “obviously failed” to release the entire conversation he had with the newspaper about the story, which he quoted in a Facebook post.
In this particular post, Mr. Skertsos states:
“You deal with poverty wherever it comes from with transparency and trust in institutions and justice. You don’t talk or dig in the mud with her. In democracies also, in contrast to totalitarian regimes, whoever accuses someone must substantiate his accusations. Otherwise, he is a slanderer”, says the minister.
Mr. Skertsos also mentions that “the lists of the document do not add any new elements to the case of illegal surveillance, nor are they substantiated with evidence – which, if they exist, should be brought to justice and not become a flyer”.
“The only thing that ultimately succeeds in the salamiization of the so-called “revelations” is the trivialization of a serious matter that concerns every democratic citizen and the serving of an organized project of disorientation from the real problems but also from the measurable work that is produced every day in many fields of politics to benefit of the citizens”, he says.
The other Minister of State was also upright in their answers to the newspaper George Gerapetritis but also the Deputy Minister of Development Nikos Papathanasis. “I don’t think this is a clear documented position and therefore it doesn’t concern us,” commented Mr. Geraptritis, while Mr. Papathanasis replied: “I’m sure that the government and the prime minister do not. I am not being watched by the prime minister or the government.”
