Dendia-Haftar meeting: Clear condemnation of the Turkish-Libyan memorandum

In Benghazi, the Greek Foreign Minister attended an event presenting Greece’s contribution to the WFP program for the rehabilitation of the city’s port

Meeting with Marshal Khalifa Haftar (Khalifa Haftar), head of the Libyan National Army (LNA), the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, had in Benghaziwho earlier, did not succumb to blackmail by the transitional government of Libya to meet with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

As diplomatic sources pointed out, Marshal Haftar spoke with particularly harsh words against the presence of Turkish troops in the country.

He also clearly condemned the Turko-Libyan memoranda. He also noted that if elections are not held by January, other actions will have to be taken.

Marshal Haftar spoke with particularly positive words about Benghazi’s relations with Athensas well as for the coordination of diplomatic actions with Cairo as well.

Then, at the port of Benghazi, Mr. Dendias attended an event presenting Greece’s contribution to the WFP program for the rehabilitation of the city’s port, a critical entry point for food and humanitarian and food aid in the wider region of North Africa and the Sahel.
