The representative of SYRIZA asked three questions to the Minister of Citizen Protection
The press representative of SYRIZA-P.S. wants answers from Takis Theodorikakos regarding the revelations about the relations of the highest officials of the Greek police with people of the underworld. Popi Tsapanidou.
“Why did he delay for months to bring the constables to justice while upgrading accused officers? Why is he hindering the case of the clean-up of EL-AS, which began with the SYRIZA government’s wide-ranging investigation into the Greek Mafia?”, he emphasizes, and concludes: “Who is the ministry protecting after all? The citizen, however, no.”

“The revelations about the relations of the highest officials of the Greek police with people of the underworld are shocking.
We await answers from Mr. Theodorikakos.
Why did he delay for months in bringing the deputies to justice while upgrading accused officers?
Why is he hindering the case of the cleansing of EL-AS, which started with the SYRIZA government’s wide-ranging investigation into the Greek Mafia?
After all, who does the ministry protect? The citizen, however, no.”
