He estimated that Turkey will not get the F-16s until the elections
At Turkish challenges mentioned ND MP Dora Bakoyannis speaking on the show “Today” on SKAI calling it a mistake “to allow the burning of the Koran as you desecrate holy symbols”, adding at the same time that this move rallied Muslims even those who are not followers of Ertnogan.
Regarding Tayyip ErdoÄŸan, Mrs. Bakoyannis estimated that he will not get the F-16s until the elections, and he is “playing his last card”, which, as she said, is the nationalist rally.
Commenting on her position Russia, the ND MP said that “it is known that Putin finances far-right organizations throughout Europe. You don’t get it out of my mind that some of these lavenders are on regular duty,” he noted, linking the incidents to the burning of the Koran.
Dora Bakoyannis emphasized that Turkey’s opposition for the first time took a different position by sending its credentials to the West.
Also for the first time, Europe, as he said, “awakened as it was willingly blind to Erdogan’s challenges”, reiterating its prediction that the Turkish president will be the winner of the election.
With reference to Imamoglu’s eventual candidacy to stand in the elections, he expressed the opinion that it is difficult to “get organized in the depths of the East”. He also said that the game changes completely in terms of elections in the neighboring country if there are three candidates.
He also emphasized that after the elections, the discussion with Turkey must be put on a different footing in order to convince the neighboring country that it must respect International Law, if it wishes to remain in the international scene.
She also expressed her concern about the situation in the Middle East, describing it as a “boiling cauldron”.
In closing, Mrs. Bakoyannis referred to the national elections of our country and the confrontation with the official opposition party, noting that this time she went beyond the limits of characterizing the Greek prime minister as a “mafioso”
Also the position of SYRIZA which says that “Androulakis is being blackmailed” for cooperation with the ND, the MP said that it is “a serious insult to say that a party leader is being blackmailed”.
Finally, he estimated that the ND is going for “self-reliance, but if the people decide otherwise, then they will discuss cooperation”.
