Mr. Plevris clarified that there is no suggestion or position that is combined with further measures beyond what was announced yesterday.
He confirmed the information that the Committee of Specialists is meeting today to consider reducing the quarantine period to 5 out of 10 days for asymptomatic patients according to American standards.
He added that after 5 days in isolation, there may be a recommendation to use a mask for another five days. He said that if the Commission takes the relevant decisions, the government will accept them.
The minister reiterated that today more than 15,000 cases are expected to be announced, which was the morning count.
