His death was announced by the president of the Parliament, Konstantinos Tasoulas, while a minute’s silence was observed in his memory. A statement about his loss was made a while ago by Mr. Antonis Samaras.
“The loss of Manousos Voloudakis plunges everyone into immense sadness. A wonderful young man, noble, cultured, educated, presentable, family man was lost. We were connected by deep personal friendship, political mutual understanding, common anxiety for the future of our Motherland.
He was civilized with morals, with arguments and above all with insurmountable militancy. His family, Chania, his Party, his friends, we will never forget him. To Sevi and their three children, my sincerest condolences. His memory is eternal,” says the former prime minister of New Democracy.
