Mr. Androulakis called science fiction scenarios “reports from entangled mass media, as an attempt by me to protect myself from an alleged scandal involving third countries.”
The president of PASOK-Movement for Change Nikos Androulakis from the floor of the Plenary of the European Parliament at the Special Session on the Rule of Law he severely criticized the government and personally Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on the issue of surveillance. “Twice Mr. Mitsotakis changed the legislation to prevent the legal notification of targets”, said Mr. Androulakis, among others.

He characterized science fiction scenarios “reports from entangled mass media, as an attempt by me to protect myself from an alleged scandal involving third countries. As much as they try with sci-fi scenarios reminiscent of QAnon and Trump to bend my resolve you can be sure they will accomplish nothing.” as he typically said.
He also glorified the actions of the head of ADAE, Christos Rammos, stating that “…government officials even proceeded to the abominable character assassination of the president of the competent Independent Authority, Christos Rammos, because he continued the investigations.”
