The US Secretary of State thanked the Greek hosts and the US Embassy team in Athens for the “successful visit”
THE US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken departed on Tuesday afternoon from Athens, thus completing his tour of Germany, Turkey and Greece.
Leaving our country, Anthony Blinken wrote on twitter:
“I depart Athens after a productive day of meetings, the ribbon cutting for the new embassy construction project, and another successful round of the US-Greece Strategic Dialogue.”
At the same time, he thanks the Greek hosts and the team of the American embassy in Athens for the “successful visit”.

During his visit to Athens, Anthony Blinken met with Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias and also with the leader of the official opposition, Alexis Tsipras. The American Foreign Minister during his visit inaugurated the 4th US-Greece Strategic Dialogue.
