The Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister has been in Larissa since Thursday, Christos Triantopoulos, for the coordination and monitoring of actions and actions foreseen and followed after the tragic train accident in Tempi. Mr. Triandopoulos has a very close collaboration with the Regional Governor of Thessaly, Costas Agorastos, and the government echelon that has also moved to Larissa.

As emphasized, in a context of close cooperation and coordination, all the foreseen procedures concerning: the completion of the investigations, the identification of the victims, the informing of the relatives, the monitoring of the health of the hospitalized, the removal of trains, the restoration of the field and any other energy and action related to the tragic accident, always with respect for the victims, their relatives and society.

The government echelon includes the General Secretary of Transport, Ioannis Xifaras, the General Secretary of Social Solidarity and Combating Poverty, Giorgos Stamatis, the General Secretary of Health Services, Ioannis Kotsiopoulos, and the General Secretary of Civil Protection, Vasilios Papageorgiou, while in every meeting and on-site cooperation all involved actors and agencies participate.
