The meeting held in Ankara by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Konstantinos Fragogiannis, with his Turkish counterpart, Burak Aksapar, on the progress that has been achieved regarding the “positive agenda” of Greece-Turkey has been concluded.
As the update states, “the progress achieved in the 25 themes of the Positive Agenda were discussed, such as the strengthening of cooperation in the fields of entrepreneurship, tourism, energy, transport and telecommunications, maritime affairs, ICT, education, of social security, health and the environment. It was noted that many topics have been successfully completed, while satisfactory progress has been achieved in several others.
The meeting also set the framework for finalizing relevant agreements that could be signed at the next high-level meeting.
Given the significant progress made in this dynamic and ongoing process, the two sides agreed to explore additional areas of cooperation under the Positive Agenda.”
