Meeting in Ankara with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Tsavosoglou had the Undersecretary of State for Economic Diplomacy Costas Fragogiannis after the end of the Positive Agenda talks between the two countries.

His counterpart, Deputy Foreign Minister Burak Aksanar, also attended the meeting.

Mevlut Cavusoglu asked to be informed about the talks held in the Turkish capital and showed the his ardent support in the Positive Agenda process.

Earlier, during the meeting between Mr. Fragogiannis and Mr. Aksanar, as stated in a statement by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, a detailed update was given on the progress achieved in the 25 themes of the Positive Agenda, such as the strengthening of cooperation in the fields of entrepreneurship , tourism, energy, transport and telecommunications, maritime affairs, Information and Communication Technologies, education, social security, health and the environment. It was noted that many topics have been successfully completed, while satisfactory progress has been achieved in several others.

The meeting also set the framework for finalization relevant agreements which could be signed during the next high-level meeting.

Given the significant progress made in this dynamic and ongoing process, the two sides agreed to explore additional areas of cooperation under the Positive Agenda.
