In Germany, the socialist prime minister is the leader of the first party, said the MP and Secretary of International Relations of the ND, Tasos Hatzivasiliou.
In the choice of a third political person, which the President of PASOK-KINAL set as a condition, for a cooperation government, the member of parliament and Secretary of International Relations of the ND mentioned, Tasos Hatzivasiliou.
Mr. Hatzivasiliou in his interview with SKAI 100.3 emphasized that “Mr. Androulakis said the day before yesterday vote for me and I will tell you later! With this logic, he achieves two things: On the one hand, he sends a message that he essentially rejects the participation of PASOK in a possible government scheme for fear of being liquidated, and on the other hand, he insults the popular verdict” and added emphatically that “while he wants to be a regulator , proves to be a potential deregulator”.
The ND MP continued, saying: “Why, for example, should citizens vote for a party that reserves as a kinder surprise whether it will join the government and the person it will nominate for Prime Minister? He did not even outline the profile of the Prime Minister envisaged by Mr. Androulakis. Will he be an active politician? Will he be a survivor? Will someone be Kiginatos?’
“Why is voting for PASOK more useful only if it exceeds the double-digit percentage and gets 10%? That is, if it gets a single-digit percentage, the vote is lost. And how does Mr. Androulakis define the high double-digit rate? Because this ranges from 10% to 99%. He should let us know what the high double digits are that he envisions. And how can the third party impose a Prime Minister?” asked Mr. Hatzivasiliou.
Then, he also gave examples from Europe: “Specifically, in Germany, the Prime Minister is the leader of the first party, who is also a social democrat. Mr. Soltz is the Prime Minister having taken 25% as the leader of the first party and thus he is the head of the three-party coalition” and added that “the bottom line is that in democracy there is no dead end. The independent government of the New Democracy is the most useful and realistic solution for the country. The president of PASOK benefits others with what he says, but it certainly does not benefit himself and his party.”
“We are approaching the time of the elections and the approach we heard from the head of PASOK, a party that wants to be in charge, is unfortunately completely superficial. It could have a complete and specific sentence and not muddy the waters. The “vote me and the Prime Minister will be unknown X” approach is neither serious nor responsible. The current situation requires clear answers, which Mr. Androulakis doesn’t seem to have either about whether PASOK will participate in the government or under which Prime Minister”, he concluded characteristically.
