In the largest and fastest production line in Europe, with a capacity of around 81,000 half-liter bottles per hour, he was given a tour Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakiss who was informed about the operation of the company by the owner Nikos Chitos while he had the opportunity to talk with employees.

It is indeed impressive, not many people know it, that here in the heart of Epirus operates the largest natural mineral water bottling line in Europe – not in Greece, in Europe. And I want to convey from here the continuous support that the Greek state will provide to all dynamic businesses that, growing their activity, also offer many well-paid jobs”, said the Prime Minister.
The prime minister noted that the big challenges of the next day are “well-trained and well-paid human resources and to adapt to the imperatives of an environmentally friendly production” adding that the company is already implementing it: “You are already doing it, adding recycled material to the packaging yours, but also by placing photovoltaics on your roofs so that you have not only more environmentally friendly energy, but also cheaper energy. This is the path of the future, the digital and environmental transformation of our businesses and we continue to support such initiatives,” Kyriakos Mitsotakis emphasized.
“Finally, let me say a word about the merger you are launching. As you may know we have provided a number of tax and other incentives to encourage businesses to make such moves. The size is important, it is what ensures better productivity and better competitiveness and of course a better position of Greek products in foreign markets”, noted the Prime Minister.

Chitos welcoming the Prime Minister.
Mr. Mitsotakis was welcomed by the owners Nikos and Alkis Chitos, the General Manager Yannis Sotos and the Technical Director Christos Prentzas.
