“Mr. Mitsotakis, with his tragically amateur manipulations, is turning into the biggest sponsor of the Far Right,” SYRIZA emphasizes in a statement, after the bombshell statement by AP vice-president Christos Tzanerikosregarding the regulation-block in the party of Ilias Kasidiaris which was submitted to the Parliament on Friday.
As Koumoundourou reports, “after together with PASOK he voted for an amendment, which unfortunately turned out to be a fiasco, today he comes to correct the mistake with a bigger mistake”.
“As the Vice-President of the Supreme Court complains, the new amendment submitted to the Parliament constitutes an unprecedented intervention in the Justice and the functioning of the Supreme Court” SYRIZA points out.
He also notes that “the only thing that Mr. Mitsotakis achieves with these constitutional acrobatics is to give anti-system characteristics and inflate the percentages of the extreme right. He didn’t listen to us when we warned and rejected the amendment we tabled that was the only solution to ban neo-Nazis.”
