The pre-election activity of the prime minister is picking up speed as he continues his marathon of tours and visits throughout Greece. The goal of Piraeus and Kyriakos Mitsotakis is until the polls close to broadcast the messages of the blue faction and to promote the positive agenda that is put forward against the toxicity and the gray that SYRIZA seeks and projects.

The current week that opened due to the anniversary of May Day with labor issues high on the agenda is expected to continue in this field, the social policy of the ND with a thematic event which is scheduled for this afternoon at the Athens Conservatory and concerns the field of Health for which the prime minister will discuss with citizens. After all, the Health sector is listed high on the “blue” agenda, in the context of the ongoing effort and policy to improve the daily life of citizens at every level, let alone the top issue of health.

Besides, Health is included in the second axis of the ND program presented by the Prime Minister just last week and it concerns “Social Greece”. In this context, it is promoted:

-The digital revolution in health, with over 300 telemedicine units,

– the renovation of 80 emergency departments and 156 Health Centers, with resources from the Recovery Fund,

– the Digital patient file, through myHealth, will be completed at the end of the next four years,

-the restriction on hospital rajas

-the increase in intensive care units and

– the increase of the nursing staff by 10,000 workers.

On Thursday, a new thematic discussion of the prime minister with citizens on the economy is being organized and another one is pending probably next week for the state.

In parallel with the thematic debates that will be organized throughout the pre-election period, the prime minister this week will also seek to be – as long as the rest of his program allows – in areas of Attica and in the neighborhoods of Athens, while on his calendar tomorrow’s day, Wednesday, has been “circled”, when he is expected to be in Kefalonia, to tour the island – in Argostoli and Lixouri and talk with the residents. After all, the single-seat electoral district of Kefalonia and Ithaca in the “blue” camp in the May 21 elections, seems to be a bet for Kyriakos Mitsotakis, who we learn that very often in his younger years, he also spent part of his vacations there.

The next stops for the prime minister are expected to be the Achaean capital, Patras, on Friday, while the following day, Saturday, he will visit and tour Chalkida, where in the afternoon of the same day he will attend the opening ceremony of the War Museum of Chalkida.
