“I represent the anxiety of every Greek woman and every Greek for our homeland to become a normal European country and not be held hostage by the elitism of Mr. Mitsotakis and the populism of Mr. Tsipras. This is what the Greek people deserve, nothing less.”
Speaking tonight at Pyrgos, the President of PASOK-Movement for Change, Nikos Androulakis, referred to the exclusion of the Kasidiaris party from the Areopagus but also to the party’s consistent fight against neo-Nazi formations without asterisks.
“Was Golden Dawn condemned yesterday? Did the murderers of Fyssa and the immigrants go to prison yesterday? It’s been years, I think. And what did Mr. Mitsotakis do? He looked at the opinion polls and made estimates: “Is Kasidiaris under 3%? Let him go down, because the bar of self-reliance is falling.” He has seen Kasidiaris rise in recent months: “Self-reliance is becoming difficult.” And then he brought a law against the Golden Dawn. This is the New Democracy of Mr. Mitsotakis. But who is the Left of Mr. Tsipras? I really want you to ask yourself if there is another left-wing party in Europe with a similar attitude towards neo-Nazis, as the one held by Mr. Varoufakis’ MeRa25 and SYRIZA. One of them boldly stated today that “it would be better if they didn’t exist, but since they exist, we can’t prohibit them from participating in the elections”. Mr. Tsipras did not pass the law to hinder the descent of the Golden Dawn. What do they have to say to the families of the victims? It’s not just ideology. They are criminals, they are murderers who are in prison. Is it possible that there are parties, fishing in the murky waters of the neo-Nazism of the killers, and not have a clear stance on these phenomena? For this reason, we do not accept lessons of progress, consistency and reliability from the leftist singers of the Right».
Addressing the new generation, he pointed out: “It is not anti-systemic to vote for the killers of immigrants and Fyssa. It is not anti-systemic to vote for those who praise Hitler, who massacred the Greek people. It is anti-systemic to vote for a party that has the courage to clash with the economic establishment, which keeps Greece tied back. It is anti-systemic to vote for a party that wants to clash with the establishment which does not want reforms. This is the anti-systemic vote and I really ask that they support our new effort because we are a party of anti-systemic realism not systemic mockery».
He underlined the battle of truth against elitism and populism.
“I represent the anxiety of every Greek woman and every Greek for our homeland to become a normal European country and not be held hostage by the elitism of Mr. Mitsotakis and the populism of Mr. Tsipras. This is what the Greek people deserve, nothing less».
He was critical of the actions of New Democracy and SYRIZA.
“Mr. Mitsotakis mentioned that it was the government of the elites. Was Mr. Patsis excellent, buying the “red loans” of the Greek people to make a profit? The eavesdropping para-state, where it was widely shown that he was watching me, his ministers and the chiefs of the Armed Forces in a European state in the year 2023? And, in fact, instead of proceeding to investigate the case, he completely covered up his closest associate, his nephew. Billions were the excess profits of the banks and what did Mr. Mitsotakis do? It has allowed the difference between deposit rates and mortgage rates to be the largest across Europe to the detriment of the consumer. And he said: “I can’t do anything, I can’t tax the super profits.” A few weeks ago, the banks gave him a gift and for some borrowers they fixed the mortgage rate. Mr. Mitsotakis does not prioritize the citizens, the many. Mr. Mitsotakis has only one priority: The chair, the power and the support of the oligarchs who caress him from the media. Why hasn’t Mr. Mitsotakis and New Democracy already fallen with all this? Because, quite simply, many citizens fear the reinstatement of Mr. Tsipras. That is why, today, and here from the Tower, we say: Give us the strength to close the two tragic protagonists of the last eight years in the closet of historynoted Mr. Androulakis.
“Mr. Tsipras toured Greece in 2012-14 and said: “You owe? Don’t pay. I’m coming to bring the seisachtia.” Have you seen any adjustments to your loans? What did Mr. Tsipras’s seditiousness turn out to be? “Red loans” worth billions of euros from cooperatives, farmers, breeders, small and medium enterprises have been handed over to the funds, to the “crows” who blackmail the Greek people and in 2015 they took the “red loans” signed by Mr. Tsipras, with his own of the law. And he has the audacity to invoke the supposed pressure of the troika. But the PASOK government, with Prime Minister George Papandreou, was pressured by the troika, but we did not sell the “red loans” to the funds. We brought universal protection to the first residence of the Greek with the 2010 law, which Mr. Mitsotakis destroyed three years ago” he pointed out regarding the political fallacies of SYRIZA.
“Mr. Tsipras, we do not have any right-wing factor on our ballots, neither Karamanlis nor Samaras nor Mitsotakis. Look for the New Democracy of bankruptcy on your ballots, with the “orphans” of Mr. Kammenos and Mr. Antonarosanswered Mr. Androulakis sharply.
Referring to Greek-Turkish, he commented: “Mr. Tsipras went to Germany and saw Mr. Soltz. I did not hear him say the word “arms embargo” about Turkey’s provocations, but we heard him say about the supposedly new agreement of the “Aegean Prespas”. Has he not yet lost his mind from the previous agreement of the Prespas? Therefore, he must explain to the Greek people who his interlocutor will be. Because, he claims that if the situation with Erdogan changes and Kilindaroglu comes, “we will be able to make the agreement of the Prespas of the Aegean”. But Mr. Kilindaroglu, Mr. Tsipras, makes worse challenges regarding our islands than Mr. Erdogan. So what is the design of this deal?” asked the President of PASOK-Movement for Change meaningfully.
