During his visit to Nice on Wednesday morning, Kyriakos Mitsotakis referred to the decision of the A1 section of the Supreme Court by which Elias Kasidiari’s party was excluded from the May 21 elections, accusing SYRIZA and Yanis Varoufakis of continuing to fish in ” murky waters’ of rage and anger.

After declaring his pride that New Democracy took the lead and won the battle against the neo-Nazi formation, Mr. Mitsotakis “nailed” the “supposedly progressive and left-wing SYRIZA”, which he said “chose to be against the front of common sense and of democracy”.

In this context, he characterized the party of Alexis Tsipras and Yanis Varoufakis “sad exceptions who must be held accountable and, if nothing else, apologize to democratic citizens and acknowledge their mistake.”

“Let those who brought the extreme left and the extreme right to the squares against the memos stop fishing in the murky waters of rage and anger. The Greece of 2023 is not the Greece of 2012 and 2015 is not the black Greece presented by SYRIZA”, concluded Kyriakos Mitsotakis on this issue.
